Yakobovich Condos of Wai'ula'ula

Mauna Kea Resort

Mauna Kea Beach Golf Course - This was originally designed by Robert Trent Jones and totally renovated by Rees Jones, his son in 2008. This is the crown jewel of the Kohala Coast and a consistent top 100 golf course. The course reopened in December 08' with everything brand new, including bunkers, irrigation, grass and greens. A beautiful new clubhouse and restaurant called Number 3, with a view of the golf course were also added. Rees Jones has redone 7 US open venues and 4 Ryder Cup sites.

Hapuna - This was designed by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay. This championship course is nestled into the dramatic natural contours of the land from the shoreline to about 700 ft. above sea level. This challenging course measures 6875 from the tips with a slope of 136. The Wai’ula’ula project borders some of the back nine holes. Truly a great course in your backyard at the Resort.

Mauna Lani Resort - 10 minutes Away

Mauna Lani South - Former Home of the annual Senior Skins Game. This course snakes through the stark, rugged a’a lava of the prehistoric kaniku lava flow. This course is home to No. 15, one of the most photographed over-the-water golf course holes in the world. Phone is 808-885-6655 for tee times.

Mauna Lani North - It is characterized by rolling terrain punctuated by kiawe (mesquite) forests. Trees often come into play. The hole design makes this course the stiffer test of the two courses at Mauna Lani. Phone is 808-885-6655 for tee times.

Waikoloa Resort Courses - 15 minutes away

Waikoloa Beach Course - This winds its way through ancient lava fields along the coastline. It offers immaculate greens guarded by numerous white sand bunkers and water features. The par 5 12th is known as the most spectacular oceanfront par five in Hawaii.

Waikoloa Kings Course - This offers a rigorous test of golf designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish. It more closely resembles a layout along the coast of Scotland but exists in an island paradise. It can play over 7000 yards from the tips.

Big Island Country Club - 30 minutes away

This is a Perry Dye designed course with Spectacular Ocean and inland vistas. It plays 7034 from the tips with outstanding hole design and differentiation.
